NEW SINGLE!! NEW ALBUM!! LAUNCH PARTY!! THE WOLF IS AT THE DOOR!!
Hi folks,
Can't believe its been so long since I posted here! Over the last 7 months I have been super busy recording the new Album! Yes, new Album! Its been a lot of hard work and many learning curves. I am new to ProTools, and all the Steven Slate plugins which I used to mix the whole thing, but long story short I am very happy with the results, and I can't bloody wait to share them with you all!
On that note, in other exciting news I have teamed up with Footstomp Music to release the first single off the Album. The single is called 'The Wolf Is At The Door', and the album will be entitled 'Insofar'.
THE LAUNCH PARTY IS NOVEMBER 4TH AT BOUNDARY HOTEL, WEST END, BRISBANE - CHECK OUT EVENT HERE AND PLEASE SHARE ETC :-)
I'll be giving out a limited number of CD copies of the song!! And I may even do a pre release run of the whole album... come find out!!

I decided to go the DIY route this time, as I wanted the time to develop the songs as I recorded them and focus on getting really good takes and performances. I also love the production side of things and want to get into doing more of it, and this really allowed me to experiment. I don't have great equipment or anything, which forced me to get pretty creative during the recording process.
I am calling the album 'Insofar', because the album is simply me and my journey insofar as it is. I feel it just kind of named itself really! I'll be posting more abut that as we go..
Here's the art for 'The Wolf Is At The Door'! Me and my awesome wife/photographer collaborated and came up with this. She shot the whole thing and I did the Photoshop stuff..We went up to the lake near our house on a really rainy day with out fantastic friends Meli and Chinah (who held umbrellas etc and gave us lots of support, we def owe them lots of beers, big shout out!!) an old beat up guitar and had some fun and took some pics..
